Where is this service available?
The goal of Houston WiFi is to provide free WiFi Internet access as an amenity for the Downtown District’s business, residential, and visitor community. If successful, the network may be expanded to other districts and communities in the City of Houston. The Houston WiFi network is primarily an outdoor network. An exception to this is the Houston Library, where we have installed WiFi access points inside to ensure good coverage throughout the building.

Locate the WiFi Zone access locations using our interactive map.

Initially there may be areas where the signal is not received within the city limits. However, we are working to continually improve this service. Please reference our map (may load slowly) of Houston WiFi access locations to confirm that Houston WiFi is available from your present location.
